Crystal Palace boss Neil Warnock is considering a loan move for rookie West Ham striker Freddie Sears.

Hammers manager Gianfranco Zola wants to loan 19-year-old Sears to a Championship club in order for him to gain more first-team experience and Warnock needs attacking reinforcements at Selhurst Park.

"I will speak to (assistant boss) Mick Jones and our chief scout about him and have a look at our scouting reports," Warnock told the Croydon Advertiser.

"Freddie Sears is the sort of player that would interest us - we are looking for players of Premier League quality and experience."

Sears burst onto the scene last season with a debut goal against Blackburn but has struggled to nail down a first-team spot this term.
