Crystal Palace midfielder Neil Danns issued a hands-off warning to clubs looking to cherry-pick the Eagles’ best talent.

Palace were docked ten points after falling into administration last month, while Victor Moses was sold to Wigan for a bargain £2.5 million in the transfer window -and speculation is rising about the future of their other rising stars.

But, with the window now closed, any permanent deals will have to wait, amidst conformation from the administrators that talks about a possible takeover have started.

That has coincided with a tremendous week for Neil Warnock’s men after beating Peterborough, Wolves in the FA Cup, followed by Saturday’s 2-1 victory at Scunthorpe.

Danns, who scored the winner in that win against Scunny, said: “You can feel the unity within the club at the moment and that includes the fans.

“We are all bonding and getting through it together. We will continue to do that and defy the odds.

“If we get investors they will see the spirit in the club and hopefully we’ll be able to keep the talented players here to challenge next season.”
