Plymouth assistant manager John Carver has signed a new two-and-a-half-year deal with the club.

The former Newcastle and Leeds coach rejected the chance to be a part of Brian Laws' coaching staff at Burnley this week to remain at Home Park.

Carver joined Argyle in December after resigning his position as head coach with MLS side Toronto FC in April.
