Brighton striker Liam Dickinson has joined Peterborough on loan until the end of the season.

The 24-year-old, who arrived at Albion from Derby in the summer, has lost his first-team place to recent signing Chris Holroyd and was an unused substitute against Norwich on Saturday. He will be reunited with Jim Gannon, his former manager at Stockport, at London Road.

"Liam wants to be playing regularly," said Seagulls boss Gus Poyet. "We cannot guarantee him that at this point in time so it will be good for him to play first-team football under a manager he knows well."
