QPR midfielder Gavin Mahon is on course for a return in April.

The former Brentford and Watford man has been sidelined since suffering a serious knee injury back in November but Rangers are confident he will be back before the end of the season.

"In terms of the timescale we set for Gavin, he is halfway through that now," said head physio Paul Hunter.

He added: "His return date comes down to how he responds to the treatment but he seems to be on track for an April comeback.

"We've raised his regime and he's responded well so far - we'll have a better idea on him in a few weeks when we see how he is progressing."
