QPR have completed the loan signing of Ipswich striker Tamas Priskin until the end of the season.

Priskin, 23, joined Roy Keane's side for a seven-figure fee last summer from Watford but has struggled for form at Portman Road, scoring just once in the Coca-Cola Championship.

He will hope to rebuild his career with Rangers and is expected to be in contention to feature for Mick Harford's men against Peterborough on Saturday afternoon.

Just last Tuesday, former Manchester United captain Keane was adamant that Priskin would remain with Town but has changed his mind to allow the Hungarian to make a deadline day move.

Speaking after the 1-1 draw with West Brom Keane said: "Tamas is going nowhere. He's staying at the football club. I think the boy deserves a chance, I think the boy's a talented player.

He added: "We're obviously hoping for a bit more from him but, like I said when we signed him, some players take longer than others to settle in."
