Southampton manager Harry Redknapp has told new signing Nigel Quashie he has a major role to play in keeping Saints in the Barclays Premiership this season.Quashie completed a £2.1million move from Portsmouth last month and recovering from a knee injury - and Redknapp is relieved to finally have the Scotland midfielder available."Nigel is fine now. He has trained over the last couple of days and he is going to be an important player for us. He is the one big signing that I made last month and his game has come on a lot over the last few years," Redknapp said.
