West Brom have confirmed that Paul Robinson has converted his loan spell at Barclays Premier League side Bolton into a permanent deal.

The left-back, who has already spent six months on loan at the Reebok Stadium, has joined Owen Coyle's side for an undisclosed fee.

The 31-year-old joined the Baggies for an initial £250,000 fee in October 2003 from Watford and went on to make 237 appearances for the club, scoring six goals.

Robinson has featured 11 times so far this season for the Trotters.
