Reading have confirmed the appointment of Brendan Rodgers as the club's new manager.
The Royals have paid "substantial" compensation to Rodgers' former club Watford after handing the 36-year-old a three-year deal at the Madejski Stadium.
Rodgers takes over from Steve Coppell, who quit the Coca-Cola Championship outfit at the end of the season.
