Leeds United striker Billy Paynter is set to leave the club on loan after falling out favour at Elland Road, according to skysports.com.

The former Swindon Town striker moved from the County Ground last summer but indifferent form and injury saw his opportunities limited.

This season, the form of Ross McCormack and Andy Keogh has left him out in the cold at Leeds and the 27-year-old could be ready for a new challenge.

Reports suggests that close to six clubs are looking at signing the Leeds hitman.

Coventry City, Barnsley, Blackpool, Brighton & Hove Albion, Doncaster Rovers and Derby County are all reportedly interest in Paynter, who has scored just once for Leeds since joining last summer.
