Coventry have launched a new third kit for this season to commemorate this summer's World Cup in South Africa.

Only 2,010 of the white and navy shirts will go on sale and are designed to ensure Sky Blues fans can show off both their club and country colours at the same time. Coventry's players will wear the kit against Sheffield Wednesday on March 27.

Head of retail Justin Tose said: "We thought this would be a novel way to show support for club and country. GMF Video

Watch a transfer deadline day round-up The kit has a small St George's flag embroidered on the sleeve with '2010' and we've kept with the traditional national colours. We think we're the first club to do anything like this to show our support for the national team and hopefully it will prove as popular with our fans."

He added: "Last year we marked the 125th anniversary with the chocolate brown shirt and it was a massive success. All the feedback we had was that our fans like having something different."
