New signing Tom Soares is relishing the prospect of playing first-team football and is determined to help Sheffield Wednesday climb the table.
Soares joined the Owls in a one-month loan deal from Stoke on Thursday after failing to make an impact with the Potters.
He told the club's official website: "This is a good move for me, it's a big club. I need to play football, get fit and hopefully I'll bring something to the team and help the club climb the table."
