Watford have tied England Under-21 goalkeeper Scott Loach to Vicarage Road until 2013.
The 21-year-old, who was a January transfer target for Tottenham, has committed his future to the Hornets by putting pen to paper on a year-long extension to his previous deal.
Loach was in goal for Stuart Pearce's young Lions in Doncaster on Wednesday night but was unable to prevent them going down to a 2-1 defeat by Greece.
He has already made 70 appearances for Watford and also had loan spells with Morecambe and Bradford.
