Accrington have signed Wolves striker James Spray on an initial one-month loan deal.

The 18-year-old is a product of the Wolves academy and made his senior debut for the Premier League club in the Carling Cup clash with Millwall this season.

"It's a chance for him now to play some first team football and hopefully he'll grab that chance," said Stanley boss John Coleman.

"He's a keen lad and we'll have to wait and see what he can do for us now. We've got options all over the park now and it's up to the players who get the shirts to keep them."

Spray will go straight into contention for Tuesday night's Johnstone's Paint Trophy clash with Tranmere.
