Former Southampton manager Gordon Strachan is a "potential candidate" for the vacant role at Portsmouth according to Pompey chairman Milan Mandaric.The club have finished interviewing prospective managers and Strachan, who managed Pompey´s bitter rivals from October 2001 to February 2004, is believed to be at the front of the queue."We always wanted to bring in a manager and head coach and we are looking at options to accelerate that decision and bring a manager in before the end of the season," Mandaric confirmed.
