Swansea defender Albert Serran has signed a new one-year deal.
The 25-year-old Spaniard, who would have been out of contract this summer, has penned new terms with an option for a further 12 months.
He signed from Espanyol B in July 2008 and made his debut against Brentford in the Carling Cup. He was then handed his Championship bow against Ipswich in February 2009, setting up Jason Scotland for the winner.
Serran missed the four months of last season with a knee problem and made just four starts in 13 appearances in an injury-hit term.
