Swansea's Albert Serran is expected to be out of action for eight weeks with a hamstring injury.
The Spanish defender left the field before the end of Saturday's 1-0 win over Leicester despite only entering the fray as a 73rd minute substitute. Scans have revealed that the 25-year-old has torn part of a tendon in his hamstring.
Serran told Swansea's official website: "It's unfortunate. It's unlucky, but that's football. Obviously I'm very disappointed , but on the other hand I'm pleased that it is not the knee which could have been a lot worse."
He added: "I've just got to work hard to get myself fit again as soon as I can."
