Jermaine Pennant has been cleared to play in Birmingham´s home match with Tottenham.
Pennant must wear an electronic tag for the next two weeks after being released on parole from prison on Thursday.
The club´s football secretary Julia Shelton said: "Keith Hackett, the head of the Professional Match Officials Game Board, has informed me that the decision has been passed and Jermaine will be able to play wearing his tag which is good news."
