A second-half brace from striker Peter Thorne helped Norwich kick off their pre-season preparations with a 4-1 win over Fakenham Town.Darren Huckerby opened the scoring for the Canaries with a stunning volley after Leon McKenzie had earlier missed a penalty for the visitors, and Ryan Jarvis - who hails from Fakenham - scored City´s second before Thorne´s double sealed the win.Norwich´s East Anglian rivals Ipswich won 2-0 against Galway United in Ireland, while Leicester were 4-1 victors over League Two side Boston at York Street.
