Charlton chief executive Peter Varney has called for cash in the Premiership to be distributed more evenly in order to make the league more competitive.Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal are virtually assured of lucrative Champions League places every year. But with a bumper television deal set to kick in next year Varney believes the Premier League should do more to help the less financially-able clubs."With the money coming into the Premiership in the next three years, this is an opportunity to look at the way it is distributed," he said. "Money should be distributed in such a way that we are more competitive as a league. People want to see every team reaching their potential."
