Aman has returned to Leicester to train with them...

On-loan Leicester midfielder Aman Verma has returned to the Walkers Stadium after Crewe cut short his spell at Gresty Road.

Verma's loan was due to end on November 10 but he will now train with his parent club after finding first-team opportunities limited since Dario Gradi returned as caretaker manager at Alex.

Verma made nine appearances under former boss Gudjon Thordarson, who brought him to the club in August, but his substitute outing at Notts County on Saturday was his first taste of football since Gradi replaced the Icelander at the start of October.

"Aman has returned to Leicester to train with them. He has gone back a little early as it is easier for him to train there," Gradi told Crewe's official website.

"He has been absolutely fine and I apologised to him for not helping him much since I've been in charge.

"He told me he enjoyed it here and got some league games under his belt. He said that this time last year he was playing non-league football, so it just shows how far he has come.

"I don't think he went with any bad feeling so that is good and we wish him well."
