Midfielder Simon Walton has joined Plymouth`s relegation rivals Blackpool on loan until the end of the season.

The 21-year-old has made 12 appearances for the Pilgrims since his move from QPR in the summer but has found first-team opportunities limited in recent weeks.

Walton will not be eligible to play against Argyle when they return to Championship action following the international break at Bloomfield Road on Saturday, April 4.

As well as playing in midfield, Walton can also play at centre-back.
