We don't talk about stuff like that...

Neil Warnock is refusing to get drawn into talks about a late promotion surge from his Crystal Palace side following their 2-1 victory over Preston.

The Eagles halted their slide down the Coca-Cola Championship table after a quickfire first-half double from Stokes and Neil Danns cancelled out Billy Jones' 29th-minute opener.

The Eagles are nine points off the play-offs - albeit with two games in hand - and Warnock said: "We don't talk about stuff like that."

He added: "We've got three away games coming up where we cover 1,200 miles in just a few days."

And Warnock jokingly added: "If we win all of them, I'll show my backside on Sheffield Town Hall steps."
