New QPR manager Neil Warnock has vowed not to raid former club Crystal Palace for loan players this season.

Warnock quit Selhurst Park on Monday night to take over at Loftus Road with Rangers three points above his old side, who are out of the relegation zone on goal difference alone.

But Warnock revealed: "There will be nobody from Palace. I've no agreement with them but those lads sweated blood for me and played when they were injured so I want them to have every opportunity to stay up."

He has predictably been linked with loan moves for some of his former Palace players, such as 17-goal top scorer Darren Ambrose.
