Charlton midfielder Josh Wright has extended his loan spell with Gillingham to enable him to play in the League Two play-offs.

The 19-year-old has so far started four matches for the Gills, who were forced to settle for a place in the play-offs following a goalless draw against Bury last weekend.

Wright's eventful season could therefore finish with him having been involved in two promotions and a relegation.

As well as playing three times for the Addicks - who will finish bottom of the Championship - Wright also made six appearances for Brentford who sealed the League Two title last Saturday.
