Coventry captain Stephen Wright was criticised by manager Chris Coleman after his dismissal at QPR.

Wright was dismissed for a second bookable offence following a foul on Akos Buzsaky with four minutes remaining of the 2-2 draw. The defender angrily threw his captain's armband in the direction of referee Mike Jones after being given his marching orders.

"It wouldn't be like him to do something like that," Coleman insisted. "I've not talked to Wrighty about it and I didn't see it, because I was organising the team's formation after the sending off."

Coleman added: "It was a foul, but I don't think it should have been a booking. Buzsaky went down a bit too easily for my liking."
