Charlton´s Luke Young has been visited by the England team doctor as the defender looks to return to full fitness ahead of the World Cup.The 26-year-old injured his ankle against West Ham at the start of April and both Young and his Addicks manager Alan Curbishley were initially pessimistic about his chances of forcing his way into Sven-Goran Eriksson´s squad for Germany. The England team doctor Dr Leif Sward and Eriksson´s assistant Tord Grip visited Charlton and, according to the Addicks, they were impressed by Young´s progress. Wayne Diesel, the head of the club´s medical department, told the official website: "They appeared to be quite happy with the progress Luke is making."
