Shakhtar Donetsk star Julius Aghahowa has told Rangers he would be "honoured" to join Sotirios Kyrgiakos as a new signing at the club, claiming the Light Blues have approached his club ahead of the closure of the transfer window.Greece international Kyrgiakos rejoined the Gers on Tuesday after signing a new one-year deal - just weeks after any permanent move to take him to Glasgow appeared to have foundered following protracted negotiations. The Nigerian, meanwhile, reportedly has a buy-out clause for £5.5million in his contract, although Rangers may be more eager for a season-long loan deal.Aghahowa said: "I have been made aware by my club that a bid has been made by Rangers. I´m honoured as Rangers are one of the biggest clubs in Britain. My agent, Saif Rubie, has been working hard to get me a move to Britain and, if a transfer does materialise, I´d be very happy to come."
