Ball joins City

By PA Sport  January 31, 2007
Manchester City have signed former England left-back Michael Ball from PSV Eindhoven until the end of the season.

The 27-year-old has joined from the Dutch league leaders on a permanent deal to become manager Stuart Pearce´s second signing of the transfer window, following Djamel Abdoun´s move from French club Ajaccio to Eastlands.

Ball won his move after a week-long trial with City.
