Barcelona have ruled out a move for Robin Van Persie in the immediate future.
The Dutch hitman has been in inspired form at the Emirates Stadium over the past season-and-a-half, and currently leads the way as the Premier League's top scorer with 22 goals.
It's form that has led to speculation over the future of Van Persie with the Gunners, and rumours that the striker will follow Spanish international Cesc Fabregas in making the move from north London to Catalonia.
However, Barca vice-president Josep Maria Bartomeu insists the 28-year-old isn't currently in the club's plans, although that could change in the future as the door was left open.
"There is nothing going on at the moment. There are some rumours, but this is not the right time to talk about Van Persie," Bartomeu told Spanish publication Sport.
"We have to focus on our performances on the pitch."
That next performance will come against Valencia, when Pep Guardiola's side face Valencia in the second leg of their Copa del Rey semi-final.
