Bayern Munich general manager Uli Hoeness has admitted the Bundesliga giants are interested in signing Barcelona´s Dutch international midfielder Mark van Bommel. The former PSV Eindhoven star moved to the Nou Camp last summer but has struggled to command a regular place in Frank Rijkaard´s starting line up. And Hoeness is keen to land Van Bommel as a potential replacement for Michael Ballack, who is tipped to leave the Bundesliga champions for Chelsea this summer."If Barcelona say they would let him go for two or three million euros, then we would be ready to talk," Hoeness told Munich´s Tz newspaper. "Van Bommel is a playmaker, but he can also hurt opponents."
