Feyenoord captain Theo Lucius has warned his team-mates they must secure a top five finish in the Eredivisie this season.

Feyenoord are currently in sixth place - 10 points behind leaders Ajax - after three successive league victories. But following the KNVB Cup 3-2 defeat against RKC Waalwijk on Wednesday, Lucius is determined to improve on their current position and secure a Champions League play-off berth.

"We must focus on the Eredivisie now. We must go past Twente, Roda and Vitesse and become the number five club. If Feyenoord are in the fifth spot at the end we are in the play-offs and we have done a good job." he told AD Sportwereld.
