Feyenoord have confirmed they will appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport over UEFA´s decision to exclude them from the UEFA Cup following crowd trouble at a match against Nancy earlier in the season.
UEFA handed down the punishment last week, having appealed against its own original verdict of a fine.
"We want to let CAS test if the verdict of the appeal committee is correct, because we feel that Feyenood have been unjustly treated with this punishment," Feyenoord financial director Onno Jacobs said on the club´s official website.
