Portugal midfielder Luis Figo insists he leaves "on a high" having confirmed his retirement from international football after helping guide his country to their first World Cup semi-final appearance in 40 years.The 33-year-old former Barcelona and Real Madrid star played his final game in Saturday´s 3-1 defeat against tournament hosts Germany in the third-place play-off in Stuttgart. Figo has decided to stand down from international duty to concentrate on his club football with Serie A side Internazionale.And an emotional Figo said after the Germany game: "I have told my team-mates this is a definite decision and I have also told them how proud I am to have been a part of this magnificent group. I leave the national team at a time where Portuguese football is on a high for what we have achieved in the past few years."
