Uruguay striker Diego Forlan has signed a contract extension with Villarreal that will keep him at the Primera Liga club until June 2010.The former Manchester United man, 27, has been in prolific form since joining Villarreal in August 2004 and scored 25 goals in his first season in Spain to share the European Golden Boot with Arsenal´s Thierry Henry.Forlan´s glut of goals also helped Villarreal reach the semi-finals of least season´s Champions League and he was recently linked with a move to Primera Liga rivals Barcelona.
