Republic of Ireland manager Brian Kerr is considering an appeal against the red card awarded to centre-back Andy O´Brien - but feels it may prove a waste of time.Kerr was left incensed at the performance of Greek referee Kyros Vassaras, who completely lost control of the game during the second half of Ireland´s 2-2 World Cup qualifying draw against Israel at Lansdowne Road.And an unhappy Kerr said: "The sending off was ludicrous. The Israelis played the referee. These are big games and there should be big-time referees who understand that."
