Germany coach Jurgen Klinsmann believes the element of surprise David Odonkor offers makes the Borussia Dortmund forward a worthwhile member of the 23-man squad for the World Cup.Odonkor was named in Germany´s party for this summer´s showpiece even though he has never previously earned a call-up to the international fold. Klinsmann admitted the 22-year-old, who has scored just one league goal for Dortmund this season, has been in his plans for a while and reckons the newcomer provides something different."He is a further variant in our system," said the former Germany striker, who chose Odonkor over Schalke´s Kevin Kuranyi. "He has pace, can surprise players and can go to the byline and cross."
