Kosanovic appointed at Red Star

By PA Sport  August 10, 2007
Milorad Kosanovic has been named the new coach of Red Star Belgrade just days before the Serbian giants face Scottish outfit Rangers in the third qualifying round of the Champions League.

He replaces Bosko Djurovski, who guided the team to the domestic double last term after taking the helm from Dusko Bajevic midway through the previous campaign.

Kosanovic coached Red Star between 1997 and 1999, and has since had spells in charge of the Serbia and Montenegro Under-21s and the Malta national team.
