Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has confirmed the club have opened negotiations with Sylvain Wiltord and Francois Clerc with a view to extending the pair´s stay at Stade Gerland.Wiltord, who joined from Arsenal in 2004, is Les Gones´ leading scorer this season and provided further evidence of his worth on Saturday night when he scored twice in the 4-0 drubbing of Sochaux. The highly rated Clerc has come of age this season with some sterling displays in defence and earned a call-up to France´s squad for their friendly clash with Slovakia last month."I hope both players stay with us next year and we will do all we can to make sure this happens because they deserve it," Aulas said.
