Mallorca target strong start

By PA Sport  August 27, 2005
Real Mallorca will hope for a good start to the season against Deportivo La Coruna and continue their remarkable form from the end of the last campaign which saw them secure their top-flight status.

Coach Hector Cuper arrived at Mallorca after Christmas with the team already in serious trouble and he helped give the players the belief they needed to stay up but the club would have still gone down had it not been for the dreadful decline of Levante at the end of the season.

Cuper will be able to count on midfielder Adrian Peralta as he has recovered from a knock but Mallorca are without Eduardo Tuzzio, Jonas Gutierrez and Victor Casadesus who are all injured.
