Luciano Moggi has resigned as a senior director of Juventus with immediate effect, bringing forward his scheduled departure from next month when a new board will be installed at the crisis-hit club.Speaking after Juve had won their 29th title with a 2-0 win over Reggina in Bari, Moggi read a statement on Sky Italia. Moggi, whose resignation will be rubber-stamped on Monday, said: "I am here to inform you that from today I will no longer be the Juventus general director."From tomorrow the football world will no longer be a part of my life. I only intend to defend myself from now on from all the nasty things that have been said about me. I don´t want to answer any questions, I don´t have the strength. I feel as if my soul has been killed."
