Matteo Ferrari has joined Everton on a one-year loan deal from Roma with a view to a permanent transfer.Ferrari will boost Everton´s options at the back with both Per Kroldrup and Alessandro Pistone injured, and manager David Moyes is delighted to secure the services of such an experienced player."He played 50 games for Roma last season and was in the Italian squad that went to the European championships," he told www.evertonfc.com.
