Turkey assistant coach Mehmet Ozdilek has resigned after the country´s failure to qualify for the World Cup.Turkey bowed out to Switzerland after a controversial play-off which ended in turbulent scenes.The Swiss, who had won the first leg of the play-off 2-0 in Bern, lost a dramatic second leg 4-2 in Istanbul but advanced to the finals in Germany next summer thanks to the away goals rule.
