A consortium led by Italian businessman Tommaso Ghirardi has completed its takeover of Serie A outfit Parma.Confirmation of the takeover was announced on the club´s official website, www.fcparma.com, on Thursday.Details of the deal were not immediately disclosed by the club´s former owner, Parmalat, but the deal brings to an end a period of temporary administration since the dairy giant went into bankruptcy in December 2003.
