Udinese owner Giampaolo Pozzo believes the club can avoid relegation but has issued an angry broadside at his underperforming players.

Pozzo plans to send the team to train away from Udine for a month in the hope that a change of surroundings will help the Bianconeri turn around what has been a dismal domestic campaign. Sunday´s 4-0 defeat against AC Milan has left the Friuli outfit just one point clear of the drop zone and extended the side´s winless streak to 14 games - all this after they finished fourth and qualified for a Champions League place last season.

Pozzo said: "The team will train away from home and they will do so until our situation changes.I know that this decision may not solve all our problems but from what I see on the pitch the players aren´t fully aware of the seriousness of our current position."
