Struggling Paris St Germain put their league woes to one side as they progressed through to the quarter-finals of the Coupe de France with a 1-0 victory over Valenciennes on Tuesday.Midfielder Christian Rodriguez scored the only goal of a tight game in the 55th minute as PSG stayed on course to retain the trophy they won last season.Recently appointed coach Paul Le Guen will be hoping the win kick-starts his team´s wobbly league form - the capital club are fourth from bottom in Ligue 1 and level on points with Troyes, who occupy the final relegation place.
