Holland coach Marco van Basten has defended his decision to exclude Clarence Seedorf from his squad for the international friendly against England next Wednesday.Thirty-year-old Seedorf has not featured since Van Basten took charge of the Oranje back in 2004, prompting the midfielder to admit to the press earlier this week that he still dreams of resurrecting his international career - a move that has drawn a lukewarm response from the national coach."It was a good planned charm offensive," said Van Basten. "But I still have the opinion that we don´t need him. I do not select players on the basis of interviews."
