Watford have terminated the contract of out-of-favour striker Moses Ashikodi.
Ashikodi, who arrived at Vicarage Road from Rangers in January 2007, has only made three appearances for the Hornets first-team.
He scored in his only start for the club, which came in a 4-1 victory over Stockport in the FA Cup fourth round before the 21-year-old spent time on loan at Bradford, Swindon and Hereford.
Ashikodi departed Vicarage Road before Monday's 5pm transfer deadline and becomes a free agent with immediate effect.
