Ahead of England’s next UEFA Under 21 Championship game against Spain tomorrow, Manchester City defender Nedum Onuoha reveals a few things about his international pals...

Q: Who are the keenest trainers?

A: Lee Cattermole and Craig Gardner go way beyond the realms of just being keen. They are incredible. We were at a training camp in Spain, and were all allowed to have a lie-in towards the end. Not Lee and Craig. These two got up and went out to do laps.

They didn't even do it to suck up to the boss. They didn't even tell him and he doesn't know about it. They just did it because they wanted to!

Q: Who’s the coach's pet?

A: Joe Hart. Suddenly picked by his ex-manager – Stuart Pearce – for the England Under 21’s, having never got a look-in before at their old club? Sounds dodgy to me! Joe pretends he’s got nothing to do with the manager, but we all know the truth.

Q: Who's the funniest?

A: Mark Noble is your typical, stereotypical Cockney joker. He comes out with all the East End jokes – but Martin Cranie has us all in stitches without meaning to.

Q: Who's the smartest?

A: I did IT at college so the guys think I’m the brain-box. I get the likes of Joe Hart coming to me, saying the language setting on his iTunes has changed when we’re abroad.

Rather than just looking at it himself and working out that he just has to click on the English icon, he comes to me!

Q: Who's the hardest?

A: If the squad had to take on a gang of bad guys, it would probably be me and Micah Richards pushed to the front. Gabby Agbonlahor and Fraizer Campbell would be at the back, making the most noise but not doing much else.

Q: Who's the most mature?

A: We’re all a bunch of big kids! I guess the likes of Mark Noble, who’s just had a kid and is married, has good reason to get homesick. But otherwise it’s like a big school trip.

Q: Who's the hairdresser?

A: We got two days off before Sweden, and we were all off to the salon for a new cut. I wouldn't trust any of those clowns near my hair with clippers.

Q: Who’s the biggest gamer?

A: There are a few gamers in the squad playing Pro Evo but I’m not that keen – but only because I’m no good! I like a good box-set though and all the lads are sharing The Wire and Entourage. But table tennis is the big thing at the moment.

Q: Who’s the best dancer?

A: Joe Hart. I filmed his dance that is now all over YouTube! I put it on my MySpace page under private, but someone got it off and sent it to Soccer AM.

They deleted out my voice and Joe was sure I had stitched him up but I hadn't. It is funny, though!

Q: Who’s the biggest Under 21s legend?

A: James Milner! He made his debut when he was about six years old! James jokes about how long he’s been around and that he’ll soon get his 100th cap, just like Beckham. James is quality and will eventually get in that senior side.
