England will not be taking Kazakhstan lightly on Saturday, even though the group leaders are red-hot favourites to continue their winning streak.

Victory at the weekend and another three points against Andorra will put Fabio Capello’s men on the brink of qualification for the World Cup finals in 2010.

But there’s still a job or two to be done before the England boys can pack their bags for a well-deserved holiday at the end of a long campaign.

But Lampard has urged his teammates to be wary of a team that proved themselves to be decent opposition when they played at Wembley earlier in the campaign.

Q: What did you make of the first game at Wembley?

A: We know when we played them at Wembley that we were not at our best and they put us under some pressure and had a high work rate.

Q: What will you have to do to improve on that performance?

A: We will have to be even more concentrated on Saturday. We have watched the re-run of the Wembley game to refresh our minds about how we performed in that game. No doubt we will look at it again and we have to make sure we perform as well as we are capable of - and hopefully that will be good enough.

Q: Is two wins a priority - against Andorra and Kazakhstan?

A: If we can get six points from these two games, we know we will take a huge step towards ensuring qualification for next summer's finals.

Q: Is the squad in good shape after of a long, hard season?

A: Everyone is fit and fresh and, whether they have lost or won cup finals with their club teams, they are very focused. We have come here early to acclimatise and over the next few days we will get used to the conditions.

Q: What has Fabio Capello said to you so far?

A: The manager has sat us down already and explained the importance of the game. We know that as a squad anyway. Now we have to make sure we produce the performances we need to end the season in style.

More to come from Frank and Wayne Rooney later here on Givemefootball.
